Mathis Heller is a German automotive and product designer with 25 years of experience and with studios based in Amsterdam and Shanghai. Today he is a master at the Detao Masters Academy Shanghai and a professor at the Shanghai Institute of Visual Art.
Heller has worked with global brands, such as BMW, German Railways, Siemens, Haier and with innovative start-ups such as Miscea.
His work has received countless international awards, including the red dot award ‘best of best’ and the iF design award gold. He has also been a jury member of many renowned design awards including the iF design award and Red Star award.
